PharmaJobs opened its doors in 1986 as Sales Consultants of Baton Rouge, Inc. (SCBR). Initially we focused our recruiting efforts on just sales positions. Geographically, these positions were local and regional in scope and the candidate job titles ranged from Sales Representatives to Vice Presidents of Sales.
In 1989 we began evolving from a “functional specific” search firm specializing in sales only positions for all industries, into an “industry specific” search firm specializing exclusively in the Pharmaceutical industry. Because our recruiting efforts became solely focused on the Pharmaceutical industry, our geographic reach became national in scope rather than just local/regional in scope. Subsequently, we changed our name from Sales Consultants of Baton Rouge to PharmaJobs, Inc. PharmaJobs more appropriately reflects and describes the area of recruiting in which we specialize and for which we are known so well.
PharmaJobs has gained a well established reputation with many key companies and professionals within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and PBM space. We are often acknowledged as one of the leading search firms in the industry. This is confirmed by the fact that 92% of our recruiting efforts are with repeat client companies. All of our clients have trusted us with confidential company and staffing needs information and most have assigned PharmaJobs to their “preferred partner” list of search firms.
